Monadnock Divers Club 20th Anniversary
2008 marks the 20th anniversary for the Monadnock Divers Club. All of the members at the last meeting agreed that something special should be done to commemorate the occasion. So we're looking for ideas. If you have a great idea about how to celebrate, please pass them along at the next club meeting!

Ocean Tune-up Dive
Our annual ocean tune-up dive was held on Sunday, June 15, 2008 at 10:00 AM at Stage Fort Park. There were a total of eight members in attendance. The weather seemed spotty at first, but the rain cleared off long enough for us all to gear up and get in the water. Visibility was around 20 feet and the water temperature was a warm 61 degrees. We hit a maximum depth of only 21 feet, but saw a lot of interesting things including a moon snail devouring an entire lobster! Afterwards we enjoyed a potluck lunch consisting of various salads as well as some hotdogs that, thanks to Jen and Zach's foresight, we actually managed to cook!
